My copywriting career began…
In 1989, working for London-based Communications in Business.
Clients included Brittany Ferries, Swansea Cork Ferries and Bermuda Tourism
Experience included external communications, product brochure copy, media relations and crisis communications. In 1992, I worked in-house as the PR and Marketing Manager for international tour operator IHS Travel.
Going Corporate…
In 1994, I worked in the Corporate PR department for international PR consultancy Weber Shandwick. Clients included international express carrier TNT, motor manufacturer Boropex and worldwide IT analysts International Data Group & Corporation (IDG & IDC). Experience included external and internal communications, issues and crisis management, video production, exhibitions and speaker platforms.

Going Solo…
In 1997, I became a freelance copywriter, writing from London, Exeter and Gibraltar. Projects have included work for TNT, TPG Post, LRQA, The Audit Commission and RB Snook Building Ltd, as well as major clients for international PR Consultancy Hill & Knowlton.

Going international…
Many of my clients are based far and wide, from Amsterdam to Madrid, from Dubai to Beijing. Some are also local. The wonders of virtual communication dictate that distance is never a problem and deadlines are always met.
